# Contacts

> email, contact form and phone from the whole website

Contacts finds the email of the website's operator. If the site does not publish one, it returns the URL of the contact form, and if there is none either, the phone number. It does not stop at the homepage: it also reads the contact subpages, the imprint, the terms and the texts the site loads only through JavaScript.

## What you get

1. **Emails**: The main email and every other address the site publishes as a contact: on its own domain, on common free mail providers or on the domain of the company that runs the site. Emails of the site's builder, of authorities and sample addresses are left out.
2. **Contact form**: The URL of the page with a real contact form. Newsletter sign-ups, search boxes and login forms do not count.
3. **Phone and company ID**: The phone number from click-to-call links, structured data, WhatsApp or the text next to the word phone. On Slovak websites also the company ID (IČO). Whatever is not found is not shown.

## How it works

1. **Homepage**: We read the homepage. If it is only a frame, we go inside.
2. **Contact subpages**: We find links such as Contact, Imprint, About or Terms and read up to eight of them on the same domain.
3. **JavaScript**: Modern websites often keep the email in their scripts, so we also read the JavaScript the site loads.

## What it is good for

- **The whole site, not just the homepage**: The contact is often on the Contact page or in the footer of the terms. That is where we look.
- **Only real contacts**: Another company's email is taken only when the site lists it as a contact. Site builders, authorities, sample addresses and pages of deleted e-shops are left out.
- **Fast**: Most websites are done in a few seconds and a run costs 2 credits.
- **For AI agents too**: Over MCP an agent sees the contact in the site detail and in the site list, and can filter sites with or without an email.
